As the neck gets closer to being ready in install on the body, we need to be sure the body is going to be ready at about the same time. So we’ve gone back to finish some of the tuning that we had previously left for a later date.
We started by putting the template on the body, then using the new router/shaper setup, we trimmed the edges to the final shape, and then trimmed the control cavities to final shape as well.
This chunk of work finished off with routing the wiring channel.
So this iw where we are at this point. Ready for frets, and ready to glue the maple top onto the mahogany base.
